Barber Program
Art’s Barber Academy provides the foundational knowledge and skills needed for entry into the Barber profession and prepares students to pass the Washington State licensing exam.
The Barber Program is based on Milady curriculum and covers 1,000 hours of hair theory lessons and hands-on hair removal. Completing this program takes approximately 6 months at full-time status and approximately 8 months at part-time status.

Application Fee................ $100.00
Must be paid to the school when the application for enrollment is submitted. Enrollment will not be accepted by the school until the application fee has been paid in full. This application fee is non-refundable and good for enrollment for one year.

Financing
30% down payment of the total tuition cost is needed to qualify for in-home financing.
Payment
Acceptable forms of payment for tuition and other fees are: Cash, Check (Personal or Business), Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or a Credit or Debit card. VISA, MC or American Express. No third-party checks will be accepted.
Enrollment Requirements
Completed and submitted enrollment application, including $100 nonrefundable application fee
16 years of age or older
Valid Washington or federal issued ID
30% down payment of the total tuition cost to facilitate financing (if in-house financing is needed)
Note: No H.S. Diploma or GED required.
The State of Washington does not require either to obtain a barber license.
Your Instructor
Arturo is a barber/stylish and educator with more than 8 years of experience. He graduated from Hairtech Beauty Academy in 2011 and right after he continue Acquiring education to enrich his hair cutting abilities and to have a better understanding on how to transfer his knowledge to the future generations. In 2019 he opened Art’s Barber House (barbershop) and has been administrating it for the past 3 years.
